We want to wish you a very happy new year and a great time with your family for the holiday season. We hope the new year bring you joy, happiness, and even more achievements for you.
In the past year, we have grown in many aspects. There were many things that happened but to name the highlights: Shahin spoke at two major Agile conferences, AgileDC and GOAT17. Shahin has also got published on HappyMelly, a community website of Change Agents around the world. He introduced the Simple Coaching Model v2.1, Facilitation Manifesto, and Community Lifecycle.
We also introduced, as a thank you to our readers and followers, a complimentary coaching session with Shahin at the month of December, for a limited number of people. The response was overwhelming. Thank you for continued support.
We are excited about the new year and the challenges ahead of us. This is a great time to recharge, and plan for the upcoming year. A good plan is a plan that can be responsive to any changes.
Have a prosperous new year,
PS: A Fun fact: Did you know that days are getting longer day by day? The longest night of the year is over. What that means is that there are only more lights in our days to look forward to? No more darkness expansion throughout the day.
We, Persians, celebrate this night. Shab-e Yalda ("Yalda night" Persian: شب یلدا) or Shab-e Chelleh ("night of forty", Persian: شب چله) is a Persian festival celebrated on the "longest and darkest night of the year," Yalda is a winter solstice celebration. (wiki)
Also, did you know that many cultures have celebrations around Winter solstice? Many of Christmas traditions are believed to be derived from Yule
Many modern Christmas traditions, such as the Christmas tree, the Christmas wreath, the Yule log, and others, are direct descendants of Yule customs. (wiki)
